Update-Nov 2007

Well, we survived the Summer. It was hardest on Jen dealing with three rowdy kids. At the end of summer though, due to a downturn in construction market, Rick was laid off of the company he worked for. It was expected. (Rick had predicted it 5 months earlier which helped us to prepare). We had long wanted to try the Wedding Magazine business again and this proved to be the opportunity Rick had sought out. SO far things are going very well. Now onto the kids;

Emma started kindergarden. Her Teacher is MRs. Cahill (whom Emma adores and listens to every word-all we hear is "teacher said...." ) She has been doing very well much in part to good preparation. Ally is a little pill who is very into everything Dora. She loves on her rowdy little brother alot and loves singing. RJ is our little man (his nursery teacher said he skipped being a toddler and went straight to little man). He is all boy and into everything. The above picture is him at his first birthday party. I have titled it "RJ Sugar Fix".

Mr.Man

R.J. (named after his grandfathers Richard James, or J.R. as Poppy likes to call him) is our smiley boy He is a littel scooter who scoots all over the house. He has recently been teething and has been through a lot of grief. Daddy keeps telling him to stop being a Baby, but he doesn't listen!. He can stand by himself now and will walk behind wheeled toys that he can balance on. He will celebrate his first birthday on September 8th. He is a big boy and loves almost everyone (again, he is teething, so don't take it personal if he starts to cry). He is doted on by his 2 Big Sissies and is smiling happy drool machine. He is all boy with a smile that lights up a room. He loves to play rough with Mom and Dad, though Mom doesn't appreciate it as much as Dad. We love him and all his happy energy.

Ally Oop!

Our little Ally is our Adventure girl. She is very fond of Dora the explorer. She watches it everyday and actively participates. (For those of you who are not familiar, Dora will prompt you to yell Map! or Backpack!. Ally will yell MAP! and PACK PACK! really loud.) She also recently moved from her crib into her first bed bought by Grandma Baby (Brewer was too hard so we nicknamed her)She adores her Big Sissy, but won't be told what to do by almost anyone. She love her Monkey (She has a blankie that was given to her by Big Sissy which was a Grandma Mills gift which has a picture of Dora and Boots, dora's monkey on it which Ally calls her monkey). She has a good vocabulary, Help and Sorry are frequently used. She is loving of her little Brother. She also loves all animals including the neighbors kitten which she dropped into their pool twice. She and Sissy also had a good time riding a horse that was visiting next door once and she fell in love with horsies. She is our Ally Angel and we are so blessed to have her.

Emma Dillemma

Emma is our Drama girl. She loves to play with her little Sissy and watch her favorite movies (right now she is into most anything Disney like High School Musical, Freaky friday...big girl stuff). She has the aspiration of being a Mermaid Princess when she grows up. (we are still looking for schools with the programs to support the proper training and education to insure she will make it). She recently told Mom and Dad that "I need my own life..." Our mouths are still hanging open from that. Emma loves to cook and even has an outfit for cooking which includes a chefs toque, matching apron and oven mit and pot holder. She will pull a chair in and help Mom or Dad stir or pour in the ingredients. She like fashion and dress up usually going through about 5 outfits a day (All hail durable Maytag Washers!).She still is sweet and very excited to go to kindergarten in 3 weeks!. She is our Sunshine and we are blessed to have her.

Hello Friends and Family,

We were inspired by a friend to create an online journal so all could keep current with our family (and I will be honest, you are interested in the kids more than anything). I think this will be fun for us and all of our loved ones as we grow that we can share with others. what great technology!
